13 year old tries the old school walkman
BBC magazine a few days ago published an article that I thought was worth mentioning. Scott Campbell wrote in this post that for the 30th anniversary of the infamous Sony Walkman, he decided to trade in his Ipod with the old school device. During the article he talks from a perspective that i find interesting. Since I had a Walkman I cannot relate with his point of view, but I can totally understand where he is coming from, the things he says and misconceptions that he has when using the Walkman. One of the funniest things is when he says “It took me three days to figure out that there was another side to the tape”.
Education on a milk carton.
Other day i decided to take a few minutes to humor myself by completing a children’s game on a back of a milk carton. After being confused for a little while I realized that there is an actual spelling mistake in the game. I admit I have never been a spelling bee champion but “Squirrel” I can spell, and even if I can’t i would double check it in a dictionary before putting it on something that is supposed to teach kids spelling. I guess its all the racoon’s fault (check out the pic, you’ll get what I mean).

Things to keep in mind before you go hiking.
So last weekend a group of us went hiking. A few things we ran into – more like did – that I thought would be worth mentioning. Keep in mind I dont consider this survivol advice, but just things to remember to be safe and have a nice trip as opposed to having to find out if you have cell phone range to call for help or not. (Although I think Ahmed did know we had cell reception since he was twittering on his phone)
